Jim is a teacher of technology classes and a coach of the varsity girls basketball team at Devine High School. He is also currently one of the golf coaches at DHS as well. Jim plays a role in the athletic department by running timing systems for both XC and Track Meets, announces Arabian Softball games, and is also the YouTube live stream guy for most of Devine High School's sporting events. Jim is also a co-founder of DHS Broadcasting.
Jim is a member of the First Baptist Church in Devine.
